Oh Deer its christmas already

Happy Wednesday!! Tomorrow is my last day at work until vacation =) Super excited!! So the news says that its going to be a white Christmas night until Sunday. So we will see hopefully. I'm shocked that Christmas is here. I am glad when its over though so that I dont have to buy any more gifts. This year I am making homemade items for my parents and friends. I will be make some Maizena men which are cookies that I used to purchase in Holland. I will also make Chocolate and add crunched up chocolate milk nuts. I figured everyone would love but I have to make something special for my boyfriend. He is very picky with food. Do any of you out there no how obnoxious that is sometimes.

Well off to the card for today. I created a custom card for my dad to mail out to his family. I love the reindeer that has ornaments wrapped around him. I stamped Merry Christmas and then added clear blings to the word. Hope you like it and I will post some snow pics and the goodies that I will make on friday. Have a good rest of the day.

Seasons Greetings

Well today I started my new job checking patients their insurance. Pretty easy!!! Hopefully soon I can make enough on my craft to work from home =) . Well today I created a super adorable card. I love all the white space on the card. I bought the red ornament stickers from Michael's which was like .45 cent..so I gladly grabbed 2 packs of those. I took my marker and just drew in some swirls to add a hang effect. And to top it off I used my pretty bakers twine ribbon which always adds such a good feeling.

Well thank you very much for looking. It's supposed to be snowing here on christmas!!!!

I'm Back!!!!!

Im Back....A lot of things have been going on lately. 1 being that I didn't have internet connection (which I must say was super obnoxious) thats why I haven't posted anything lately. This weekend I celebrated christmas with my girlfriends with our tradition in making and decorating cookies. We started this tradition about 2 Christmases ago when my girlfriend got pregnant. Ever since then the first year we made a gingerbread house which had too much icing and some of the sidings to the house was hard. Last year we made gingerbread men and well lets just say they came out really fluffy hehe... So this year we decided to be safe and make decorated sugar cookies. What did you guys make for the holidays?

My girlfriend asked if I could make same goodie bags for her office so I made 25 gift card toppers that were all different and must I say super adorable. I added 3D adhesive to the words in the front which made it look even cuter.

These are some of them
And these...
My dad asked me to make some nutcracker cards for him last weekend
I wasnt sure about the black ribbon and first but it came out perfect. It matched great with the color combination.

Materials Used:
Paper: Red and tan (Bazzill Basic)

3D sticker: Nutcracker and nut (Recollection)

Nursery Rhyme

Sooo I have been super busy lately. I have a lot of catching up to do on my blog with posting the holiday cards. One of the things that took some of my time was my nursery rhyme package that I created for my new client. I was asked to make a banner, 30 napkin rings, and 15 hats for Grace 2nd birthday. I thought it turned out really good. Well I will be on later to post holiday cards

These are the napkin rings that I created. I added different nursery rhymes like, itsy bitsy spider, twinkle little star, black sheep, I'm a little teapot, and Jack and Jill.

The hat that I made specialized for Grace is super cute. I added 3D adhesive to her name. The humpty dumpty image is cute as well.

This take a little while to do. Especially because I made a mistake by adding a 1 the first time (shoot!) So I had to do everything over again.

Well thank you so much for looking at my party package. If you are interested in this for a birthday or baby shower, please feel free to contact me at any time. I will be able to work with you

Holiday card 2 in 1

Hello today has been such a busy day! I'm working on a nursery rhyme part package for one of my clients, which I am making a banner, party hats, and napkin rings. I still had some time to make a quick item before today ends. My best friend asked me to make a gift card holder for her so this is what I came up with. I hope you guys enjoy.

This is the front of the gift card holder. I cut the scalloped circle with my 2 " punch, added 3D adhesive, and added a funky gingerbread man.

The inside I added some different paper and wrote " I love gift card holders because people are so picky that the best thing is to buy them a gift card these days. I told my friend I would make her something because I personally dont really care for gift cards. I think its more for being lazy to figure out what the person likes. It might just be me though. Does anyone else feel like that?

I use and envelope folded it in half then cut the middle flap to the folded line. I then glues one half of the flap , added some super cute paper and whalaa!

Well thank you again for looking again!

Materials Used:
Ginger Bread: SandyLion
Paper: tan (Bazzil basic)
christmas paper stack (DCWV)
Border: Scallop with circle (Fiskar)
Pen: white (inkssentials)

Winter Wonderland - Day 5

Good Sunday! It is freeeeezing outside and becoming more and more difficult to take walks with my (little girl) Westie Khloe ! She is the cutest thing ever!! She enjoys watching tv (animal planet (ofcourse) and cartoons. She keeps herself entertained with a sock :) . The cutest thing she does is when I tell her to look she snaps her head right away to look what I am trying to show her. Shes almost acts like a human. For all the animal lovers, what makes them so enjoyable?

So today I created a card to go with the freezing weather outside. I used my Thickers (Rockabye) and wrote the wonderland myself. For some reason the thickers kept falling off so I landed up gluing them on there. I then stamped my snowflake stamp that I purchased at Michaels and cut around it and added 3D adhesive on the back. You know I love something to pop out of the card.
I used K&Company decorative paper which had some great borders. I cut along the line which gave it a great look due to the border not being a straight line.

Challenges Entered:
Bee Crafty - winter but NOT christmas

Materials Used:
Letters: Rockabye Chip Board (Thickers)
Pen: white (inkssentials)
Paper: Gray (Bazill Basic)
Brenda Walton Peppermint Twist Candy Stripes (K & Company)
white (Recollection)

Thank you for looking and have a great rest of a Sunday!

Day 4 - I love presents

Yesterday I stated how I have been making too many girly holiday cards. So today I picked some colors and images to make a masculine card. It was actually pretty easy. I used one of my sketches that I drew in my sketchbook. When I search other challenges, I like to draw my favorite sketches that I can use in the near future. It's great to do that because I know I have creative pauses sometimes.

I thought it was cute to make the presents to the side plain and make the one in the middle super colorful.

I added some gems which added a little pizazz :)

Materials Used:
Paper: tan (Bazzil basic)
christmas paper stack (DCWV)
Ribbon: green and white(bakers twine)
Border: Scallop with circle (Fiskar)
Pen: white (inkssentials)
Marker: R29, G07, C1, W5 (Copic)

Well let me know what you think. Untill tomorrow

Day 3

Thank you for checking my out for another day. Remember I will be posting a new card everyday until Christmas.

Well today I decided to make a quick but still fun card. It was very easy to make and the colors and paper is great!

*quick mention* I noticed that I have been only making cards that would attract females. I have to start making some male cards as well, which I have to think hard on. Does anyone else have this problem?

I added 3D adhesive to the candle (that I got a free svg file for :) ) to make it a little more interesting

See totally easy card that you could make yourself in minutes. Thank you again and please leave comments! Until tomorrow

Materials Used:
Machine: Cricut
Candle: svg
Paper: Green, tan, yellow(Bazzil Basic )

December is here already?

Thank you for checking me out another day. It's getting harder and harder for me to go outside due to how cold it's getting. Is anyone else feeling like that as well. Well to stay warm and bubbly, I created some christmas cards.

Well this first card I think is super adorable. The story is I was searching for other people that are fluent in my language dutch and a stumbled across this awesome page. I wanted badly to create a house card to send out for the holidays, but I had no stamps or images. Thankfully I had my Songbird paper which are really birdhouses, but I though were super cute. I cut out 3 houses from the paper and glues them next to each other. I added 3D adhesive to the left house to make it pop out more.

Then when I decided to use my Sizzix Big Kick machine, I remembered that I lost my handle (must I say super obnoxious) So I had to go through my boyfriends tool box and find a wrench, which worked perfectly :) . Does anyone know where I can buy a handle by itself.

Material Used:
Paper:

Embossing: circle Cuttlebug
Paper: Red & Brown (Bazzil Basic)
christmas paper stack (DCWV)

Ribbon: Hemp cord 20lb

Last thing to show I created these pins that I wanted to use for my greeting card, which I must say were easy and quick. All you need is a needle, beads, and hot glue (easy huh ? )
These will be giving to a blog hop winner pretty soon!!
